It was walking distance to everything. Needs to have a spa. More football channels and basketball.

Great location. Comfortable rooms - although the bathroom was very small. I would recommend this to someone visiting Toronto.

smallest hotel room ever

Smallest hotel room ever. Poor lighting in bathroom. I asked to arrive a day early. They charged me extra because they said it was required to upgrade the room to accommodate our extended stay. Rubbish! The hotel was almost empty. We could not imagine the room we were upgraded from. It had to be a closet. Love Toronto. Not much on Hyatt.

Downtown Toronto Hotel

Pros: It was centrally located
Cons: Better tech support.
Location: Centrally located on King st. close to shopping and Rogers Center.
Clean and comfortable but in need of a style refresh. Fixtures that were cheaply installed were falling apart and the wifi did not appear to work in the room that I stayed in,

The hotel was nice but not worth all the hassel.

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, poor customer service
The hotel was nice enough and clean enough but not worth all of the trouble. The smoke alarm went off around 1:30 in the morning, and upon evacuating our room, other guests commented it wasn't the first time it had happened. When given the all clear to go back to our room, we were just settling back in and almost asleep when they started making all hotel announcements that is was all clear and a glitch in the system. Oh well....stuff happens, right? After returning home, I was reconciling our travel charges and discovered that the hotel had charged us an additional $900 with no notification and no explanation. When I called the customer service, they claimed it was for room damage! More specifically $800 for the TV and another $100 for misc. I don't think so. The room was fine when we left it. Now, over 2 weeks later, we can not get the hotel to resolve the situation. They simply tell us to keep calling back and that they are working on it. What is there to work on? And why should I have to keep calling them back? How about they resolve the situation and call me back! Regardless, I traveled to Chicago this past week and deliberately stayed away from the Hyatt. I will not use their chain again.
