Very close to everything, in particular the gondolas. Well kept hotel with friendly staff. The one thing that should be changed is the $11/day fee for valet overnight storing of the skis. Other hotels in this price category do this for free.

Not so Heavenly Beds
Great check in staff, well appointed rooms with one major exception. After a big day on the mountain, you just need a good sleep. Good mattresses but the not so ‘heavenly bed’ was made poorly with multiple useless layers which were tight, heavy but not warm. 2 sheets either side of a (formally) feather doona with absolutely no feathers remaining with with a second heavy synthetic or wool filled doona with a doona cover as a top layer, all tucked tightly in together. Looked great but completely useless and uncomfortable. So much for the heavenly bed! All four of our beds were the same. Second night was far better with a request for basic blankets. Definitely not the usual premium priced Westin experience. Other than that, the fireplace was cosy and the full kitchen was fabulous.
