This hotel is literally 5 minutes from Busch Gardens, and very close to Water Country USA. Easy to get to from the main road, with restaurants, fast food and a Starbucks nearby - some within walking distance (the seafood restaurant next door is great). The free breakfast is nice, if a bit monotonous, and the room was clean with amenities like a k-cup coffee maker (bring your favorite cups), mini-fridge, microwave, safe and chaise lounge (it was nice not having to sit on the bed all the time). An excellent value for the price.

Big Room, Nice Pool, and Fantastic Breakfast!

Our room was clean, stocked with coffee/tea and towels, and BIG enough for our family of 4. The kids LOVED the pool. Wish we'd gotten there earlier in the day to really get use out of it though. It closes at 10 PM. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. Lots of choices for food and drink.

What a nice surprise!

By reading these reviews I really didn't know what to expect when I got to this little hotel. What I got was, excellent service, super friendly front desk staff (probably the most friendlist in Williamsburg), a great spacious CLEAN room, a wonderful breakfast, a fun game room and a nice clean warm pool. I could not have been more happy. I have paid twice the money at other hotels in Williamsburg before and have not gotten half what I got with this little hotel. We walked over to the Whaling Co and had a wonderful seafood dinner the night before we went to Busch Gardens. I will stay here again and stay often. It was a WONDERFUL experience.

Help in the Hospitality department

Frontdesk staff needs some improvement, swingshift crew was rude to oncoming guest (3pm-11pm), breakfast was bad, eggs were cold, pancakes were dry like military crackers, microwave unsanitary. Pool terribly dirty. Rooms were small for the price, loud AC outside.

We went up to Williamsburg for a quick one night to help our daughter move from William & Mary, and we tried to reserve a day or so before the trip - thus the higher than expected cost we had to pay I'm sure. The room was clean, well done, beds were comfortable, bathroom good, and TV and Fridge. worked fine. They could definitely use more secruity lights in the back right parking lot area - very dark. We went to check on our vehicle in the evening and saw two men running away from our parked site. I moved our SUV + Uhaul to another area. The other areas seemed to have adequate lighting. From reading other reviews I was expecting a full breakfast and not a continental one. There was a continental - possibly they used to have a full one. My biggest disappointment was there was no newspaper dispensor at all for any paper. Their internet access was down at that time, too. So any of you newshounds might want to check that out. Generally we were pleased with the bare essentials.

this hotel was such an amazing value for our money because we got a busch gardens package so we paid less money.\nthe food is ok but at least they give food, the hotel was really clean with the staff cleaning the rooms daily. the pool was nice and the location was great, 1 mile from Busch gardens and watercountry usa.\ni cant wait to go back
