We are located 45 minutes from St Louis with beautiful scenery. Only 2 miles to town, less than a 5 minute drive to local restaurants and bars and local wineries. It is a quiet country home with amazing views. 15 minutes from Carlyle lake. Owner lives on site separate from the area being rented, but close enough if any questions or issues.)

Perfect for our needs
The owner was easy to communicate with and work with from the beginning to end. Great property to stay at with a fishing boat for ease of plugging in, trailers, etc. The house was perfect for our 4 guests to be able to have our own room. Provided coffee and creamer- that was a nice addition. The only thing that we didn’t realize (maybe we missed this in the listing tho) was that someone lives in the basement. They have their own access but we could hear them talking and moving around at times. It didn’t bother us and we felt safe but we didn’t realize that was the accommodations when we rented the property.
