The hotel could not put a roll away bed in our room because they said it could not pass fire inspection.... would not move us to another room which did have the space because we booked through travelocity. Told me I would need to book an additional room or go somewhere else... They had additional rooms which would work. But refused to move me because we booked through Travelocity. I will never book Holiday Inn again.

A nice place to stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: no hot tub
The hotel was quiet, clean, and convenient. The wi-fi was free and easy to access. The room came with both a refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast was good and included hot items such as eggs, sausage, biscuit gravy, and pancakes. The pancakes are made by an automated machine, but they tasted funky. There is quite a variety available and everyone should be able to find something they like to eat. The fitness center is located off the pool and the equipment is relatively new and is in good condition. The treadmill was good, but there is only one. The biggest disappointment of our trip was the hot tub. The hotel description lists this property as coming with an indoor pool and a hot tub. The hot tub was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Unfortunately, it has been filled in and a patio table now sits where the hot tub used to be. I took this trip as a break from taking care of my elderly father and needed a way to relax my back and muscles. The lack of hot tub and the relatively hard beds didn't help much, though. All in all, it was a good place to stay and I would recommend it.

Campbellsville Holiday Inn Express

This was a great hotel and we slept well. We don't always get a good night's sleep in hotels but the bed was comfortable and the heating was not excessively noisy.

best hotel for this area

...a little under staffed; friendly and professional. The pool wasn't in bad condition. It just needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was great during the weekdays; the Sunday cook could benefit from a lesson or two. There's not much in town, a small strip mall and a super small movie theater; it is a good place to relax with your spouse. The jacuzzi works fine!

Very Pleasent Stay

We were in Campbellsville for a funeral. \n\nThe front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. All the other staff we encountered were friendly and helpful as well. \n\nThe rooms are very nice and clean. \n\nWe will be visiting Campbellsville in the furture and plan to stay at the Holiday Inn again.

Wonderful staff

We have stayed here a few times, along with other places in Campbellsville, while visiting our daughter at the university. Holiday Inn Express has become our favorite. The staff is super-friendly and helpful; breakfast is one of the best we've seen; hotel is always clean and inviting. My husband always hits the pool and is always pleased. I wish all hotels were staffed and run so well.
