Beautiful property, stay underwhelming
We found the views and grounds to be exceptional and had it not been super cold, we definitely would have walked around. The beds were not comfortable at all, barely got any sleep as the springs could be felt. The room was spacious but definitely outdated. We went to the restaurant on the property after viewing the menu thinking that would be just what we need at a decent price. However, when we got in there, we were told it’s buffet only and no price was listed. I assumed the cost would’ve been in line with the menu but it was $20 a person. Not what I would’ve spent for a small, limited buffet. The food however was decent. The desserts didn’t taste fresh. The furniture was outdated and didn’t feel sturdy. Unfortunately, we will likely not return to this location.
