Iffy experience

This was one of the most disparate hotels we've stayed at. The negatives were significant: poor climate control (read: sweaty), ugly and poorly lit hallways, nastiest carpet this side of the Mississippi. At the same time, the mattresses were quality, the pool was great, and the employees were especially helpful. Need a functional place to stay? Don't need beauty in your life? Not a bad way to go.

Lovely hotel.

It was great. Love that they have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Only wish they had an uparaded workout facility. If I stayed more than a day somewhere I would stay in another hotel with a better workout facility.

5 stars from me!!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This Comfort Inn surpassed my expectations...no reason to try any other facility when I go back to Carbondale. It will always be my final destination when I go back!!

Good Value in Carbondale

The Comfort Suites is a good value when staying in Carbondale on personal business. There is a good restauarant next door (houlihan's) and there are a bunch of other options just down the road in Carbondale....or back East to Marion. Good location, great bed, and reasonable rate.
