Initial price that was going to be charged was $30 more than what I reserved and was quoted on Travelocity. Front desk person was able to rectify the pricing discrepancy and all went well.

Staff walked out two day before arrival. Horrific experience as there was nobody to provide service. No towels. Nobody at front desk. Nobody answering phone. No ice. Trash all over the place in the hallways. Linens in the hallways for days. No internet. Room keys worked only one time - up and down the elevator and long wait for them to be re- keyed. Placard on front counter, not a person, with a number to call which nobody answered. Spent more time waiting for help on the lobby than in my room. Called Marriott corporate 5 times and no resolution as they “punt” to the local GM who does not return calls. Even corporate could not get ahold of property, nobody answered. Have a case open and repeatedly promised a call back which has not happened. Very disappointed.

I liked the courtesy and efficiency of the staff (front desk). We enjoyed the generous breakfast. We LOVED the pool and the generous hours the pool was open. And I personally loved the clean, modern aqua and brown carpet in our room. Only wish is that the staff could have helped us out with the new travel promotion by Marriott. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Disgusting

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Clean the place!
Location: Lots of beauty surrounding Cartersville
Used dental floss on the bedside table; the most disgusting Marriott I have ever visited! The. front desk was horrible; and refused to address my concerns.

I like marriots a lot

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
it was very good i would stay there again. the breakfast could have been a little better.

VERY PLEASED!!

We were passing through town on I75 coming back to Illinois from Florida. On the way down, we stayed at the Holiday Inn which was also in Cartersville. Hands down, there was no comparison, the Fairfield was MUCH nicer and more economical! It was the cleanest, most modern hotel that I've seen in a long time! We stayed in a king suite ($*/night) and it was $* cheaper than the king suite that we had stayed in at Holiday Inn. Before I departed the Fairfield I intended to complement management on how pleased that I was with our stay. Finding them was a crap shoot, as we were searching for hotels in the Carterville area and they were the first one that we called. The price was right so we booked the room while we were about 2 hours away. It's very obvious that they take tremendous pride in keeping their hotel clean. I was truly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for alot of "bang for their buck"!

Great New Fairfield Inn

Stayed 1 nite. New with new updated design and colors. Great lighting in suite 222. Super comfort and staff. Eat at Appalacian (sp?) Grill downtown - outstanding. Make resv or get there b4 6PM
