The room was “ NOT” the cottage we had reserved, and paid for. Owner was not interested in making it right. We were in town for a family event and she notified us of the “Overbooking “ of cottage when we arrived. Too late to obtain other Lodging. Mosquitoes in room, low water pressure, no breakfast as advertised. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Being a Travelocity property owner myself I expected better service. Never recommend this place again to anyone

Mr. and Mrs. Bell, I do appreciate your feedback. However, I offered you a full refund. I offered to acquire a room at a nearby hotel for you. You looked at the room, said it was lovely and I never heard from you again. We offer a lovely continental breakfast. Perhaps your limited mobility kept you from walking to the main house for breakfast. I'm so sorry that you waited until a week after your stay to mention any of these things.

The property is fabulous. When we arrived Mamie was sitting on the front porch as though she had been waiting for us. She gave us a tour of our room and explained it unique features. A very nice B&B to witch we will be returning.

Great Experience

We had never stayed in a B&B before so we did not know what to expect. When we arrived we were upgraded to a different room and what a pleasant surprise. The staff was just wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. They shared stories of the history of the property and area. They served us to 2 wonderful breakfasts and made us feel so welcome. When we go to Columbus we will definitely stay there again.
