Very dirty. Fire sprinkler head covered completely with drywall mud. Carpet looks like a 3 year old cut it. Multiple old drywall screws on the floor in the bathroom. Found a bag of someone else’s garage in the nightstand. No garbage can in the room to even clean it. The staff when we checked in were very nice and informative. Highly unlikely to ever come back to this hotel and I do not recommend it.

The front desk person was efficient and nice. The room and bed was comfortable for staying one night and continuing our travels the next day. However, the bathroom sink faucet needed attention, the elevator made questionable noises but they both did function. Although the hotel was completely full, it was very quiet in our room.

While the front desk was sympathetic, room was not acceptable. Room was musty and smokey, and got worse as the noisy window AC unit cooled down the room. My daughter and I tried to tough it out, but we didn’t want a sleepless and smokey night so checked out and found another hotel in the Decatur area. This hotel seems to have a lot of deferred maintenance, and is showing a lot of ware. Joshia at the front desk offered to spray our room with air freshener, but that wasn’t going to cut it. Heed the warnings about this place, especially those in the last year or so, they are all true.

We had a room just down from the exercise room and the children were in there until 11pm and sounded like they were taking the room down it even made our bed shake. Also the bathroom sink leaked so bad had to put the trash can under it.. The beds seemed clean and were ok. Staff at the desk was very nice!!!
