No SECURE shelves in the bathroom. The glass bathroom shelf in room 820 was too flimsy and not securely attached to the wall. As such, it was tilted to the point where if you set something on it the item could slide off the self and onto (or INTO) the toilette. The other bathroom shelf also also not strong or secure enough for items to stay where I put them. No shower door allowed too much water on the bathroom floor. The bath mats placed in front of the shower would get soaked so when you stepped out of the shower and onto the bath mat, the bottom of your feet get wet and slippery. The purpose of the bathmat is to dry the bottoms of your feet so they are not slippery after stepping out of the shower; not to soak up water that escapes from a doorless/curtainless shower. .

I enjoyed a Lakeview room and it was very comfortable with a fantastic view of the perfect small lake. Lots of activity on the lake to watch and the surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and shopping. The hotel isn't brand new, but my room was more than acceptable. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Great place for a weekend getaway.

Right on OR-99E, easy to find. Smallish parking lot, but no problem finding parking on a no-vacancy Saturday evening. Check in was the quickest I've ever experienced. We paid for a 2 queen standard room, although I think we may have gotten a 2 queen suite. There is a living room/kitchenette area at the front of the room, with a leathery loveseat, coffee table, tv, microwave, mini fridge, sink, and single-cup coffee maker. There was another tv in the bed section. The tv has a USB In port, but unfortunately would not connect with any of our devices. The floor was uncarpeted, which I think is cleaner. The toilet seat had a "sanitized for your protection" band, which is nice. The longer we were in the room, though, the less clean we realized it all was. Scuffed wallpaper, mysterious splatters on the cabinetry, sticky spots on the floor, stains on the bathroom floor, dust in the bathroom vent. The beds seemed clean enough, but not terribly comfortable. They were definitely very cheap, spring mattresses, with a thin mattress cover over them. Pillows were lumpy. Overall, it was OK, but I think it was overpriced, even for being near-ish Portland.
