I've stayed at MANY hotels in the Fayetteville area and this was by far the least impressive, especially given the price. The sink leaked in the bathroom so I had to keep a towel on the floor to keep the water from running everywhere, the towels were ratty, frayed and thin, there was a chunk of missing drywall in the bathroom which was also poorly painted. The shower liner was not attached properly and was falling off in places because the snaps had all worn out. The thermostat is strictly for looks - the AC is either ON or OFF which made it impossible to stay comfortable. My room was in the low 60 degrees by the time I woke up and if I shut it off it was stuffy and warm. The ceiling had also been repaired and it looked like it had never been repainted. To top off the entire experience when I checked out the front desk lady couldn't have been bothered to write down any of the issues, nor apologize for the condition of the room. Just said "I'll have maintenance take a look". I then emailed the Property Manager who never responded so I called her. She did thank me for bringing the items to her attention but all she could offer was a "I hope you'll give us another try". Really? Why would I?

I deeply apologize for the maintenance issues you encountered with the room you stayed in. We are actively working on improving our historic Inn to create a better experience for our guests. The building does have some quirks that we continuously strive to modernize while keeping the charm of one of the oldest buildings on the University of Arkansas campus. I really appreciate the time you took to let us know where we need to focus our attentions. Guest feedback is one of the best tools we have to make improvements.
