Even though I was only staying one night, the room was on the first floor, clean, staff was very friendly and sooo much better than the Quality Inn I had just stayed in for 3 days in Holland, Michigan. My room was on the second floor, there was NO elevator, the building was old and not well cared for. I also wasn't told that I needed to ask for our room to be cleaned every day, so we didn't get fresh towels until I asked for them. I was told the hotel staff was small and they were doing the best they could given the circumstances.

The pool and spa walls are dirty and need to be scrubbed. I needed my door key reset repeatedly. The staff tried to help but they never did solve the problem. Don't use the extra roll away bed they have. It was very beat up and would not have held anyone other ghan my 7year old. Breakfast was pretty standard. One of the workers there did an amazing job. The other one did pretty much nothing the entire breakfast but talk and didn't seem to like it much when we asked for forks because they were out. Overall is ok but i feel it should be priced a little less. I have stayed in much better rooms for less money.

Angry staff

Cons: Staff.
WE arrived in some falling snow. I had reserved two rooms, on double and the other for our handicapped daughter. Serens, the receptionist greeted me almost angrily. I explained my reservation which was there. She did not dispute the reservation.It appeared she was training someone, although she sent that person away. Every fe minutes a child 8-10 would come asking for something. This appeared to be her child, who with other friends was having a pool outing. It took 25 inuutes for us to get our rooms. I went to get the luggage and my wife and daughter went to the rooms. They could not enter one of the rooms so the trainee was sent to help. The trainee couldn't do it so Serena c. She did noame. I came up the hall at that time. She managed to open one room then shouted at my wife and daughter,"there, I can open it, if you can't I don't care." I noticed that Serena, was behind the desk in the morning.. She did not greet any guests.

A good place to stay if you have pets.

A good place to stay if you have pets. Hotel is very nice with good buffet in the morning. We were so please to not be required to sneak our dog in. Would stay at the hotel again.

Very nice hotel, not sure about other reviews.

My family and I were in Joliet visiting friends and found this property to be perfect for what we were looking for. It had a free breakfast, free wireless internet, pool and spa, and all at a reasonable price. Im not sure what this place used to be like but it definitely is much nicer now. We stayed for three nights and found no problems. The staff was very polite and helpful. We will certainly stay there again.

Stay away!

Located next to several vacant commercial properties, scary. Property itself is dumpy. Staff was indifferent and unreliable. Don't make the same mistake I made, several much better properties nearby for just a few dollars more...
