I was a little upset to see the ocean view suite I originally booked and paid for was switched to a pool view room that was not a suite. I did get a credit for the bar/hotel, but would have much rather the room I paid for

You really need to depend on their shuttle, but there's only one location as their "stop". You need to have a car, golf cart, scooter or Uber a lot! There's nothing to "walk" to. However if you don't mind the obstacle of transportation it is a great place.

I want to start by stating the staff were incredible very friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant had very limited options for the breakfast, lunch and dinner. You’re better off just taking the shuttle into town and speaking of the shuttle, Johnny is the man. Very friendly, engaging and funny. The pool is very small but what made me happy was the deepest end was 6 feet. I am 5’ 10”. Do you know how many hotels I’ve been to where the deepest end barely goes up to my chest? Lame. The only thing that was really disappointing was the beach, mediocre at best. Also because of the seaweed that kept coming to shore gave off a rank odor that you can smell once you step outside the property. It’s not the hotel’s fault It is what it is. You could hear the airplanes flying above, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. I agree with other travelers that the hotel is due for a little updating. It is a little long in the tooth. All in all I had a very good time.

I liked the pool area and location of beach. The room was clean and nice. Seemed to need more employees, didn’t see many employees around to help had to wait on the front desk to be available.
