You'll be delighted with the nearby town of Clayton with its chef-driven restaurants and boutique shopping. Take a scenic hike to Tullulah Falls, surrounded by wooded trails and rushing water, or tour the closeby wineries and beer gardens for a fantastic day out.

Your home away from home is Collins Cove, a majestic log lodge, designed and decorated by the original owners to exude warmth, comfort, and loving hospitality for their three-generation family and hosts of friends! This spectacular home has plenty of room for everyone and boasts a location on a private cove with its own small beach - a setting like no other on Lake Rabun! Every view features lake, mountains, and lush greenery. Upon entry, you will be met with a bright interior and cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living space. Marvel at the natural light blanketing the area, the charm of many custom-designed and hand-built rustic furnishings, the massive stone fireplace, and the comfort radiating from every corner. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, indulging in a favorite movie on the large TV, or curling up with a good book by the crackling fire. The open-concept floor plan was designed with togetherness in mind. Prepare grand or casual meals and lake picnic snacks in the well-equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, a large granite-topped island, and two dishwashers. All doors fronting the lake lead to a lovely open porch, featuring a hand-crafted table and benches for twelve and lots of rocking chairs for deep-seated discussions!

Upstairs, the open-loft walkway leads you to spacious bedrooms where quilted beds and mountain air will lull you into a well-deserved night's rest after the day's adventures. All bedrooms include ensuite baths, Two of the upstairs bedrooms have small private decks overlooking the lake. The third bedroom houses an oversized bed, custom-designed and hand-built by the famous master-craftsman Dwayne Thompson.

A boathouse with tie-ups is provided with a spacious deck for sun-bathing, reading, visiting, napping, or sunset cocktail hour. The adjoining screened-in porch boasts a ping-pong table for friendly tournaments. Keep the competition revved-up with a private pickleball court, that also serves as a badminton and volleyball court. Beach bocce and corn-hole are also available. Take the kayaks, paddleboard or canoe out on the lake for smooth rides. The pristine waters of Lake Rabun are also perfect for swimming or fishing. A custom fire pit is off on the lower deck level, perfect for roasting marshmallows and stargazing.

Historic Lake Rabun is truly one-of-a-kind! It is Georgia's first man-made lake, built in 1915.

THINGS TO KNOW
An outdoor shower is provided, please rinse off when returning from the lake.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
