Thank you for staying with us. We apologize that you must not have noticed the black out blind that is also on the window. You must have only used the decorative blind and not the blackout blind that is behind it which allows zero light through.

We are thrilled that we did our part of your stay correctly. :) When the hotel was built, the township made us change the exit/entrance from the main road to N. Reamstown Road. It is a bit confusing and strange, I agree. :)

Hotel great. Staff horrible. Morning after check in discovered while showering it was not stocked with body wash, shampoo or conditioner. Used handsoap from sink. When left for day, had to wait for staff to come to desk. Told them about the situation and they apologized and said it would be stocked before our return that night. It wasnt! Went back to front desk, it was left unattended. Waited several minutes for someone to come offer assistance. No one arrived , so left and went to a local retailer for soap and shampoo. Planned on sharing my complaint next morning at check out but guess what. No one at the desk again. Waited several minutes and we just left room key on desk and exited.

It is our goal at the Tru by Hilton Denver to exceed our customers expectations. We apologize that we fell short during your recent stay. We are known for our outstanding customer service. We apologize that you went to the desk during your stay and found it unattended as the front desk staff also take care of guest service calls and delivering amenities to rooms. They usually aren't away from the desk for more than 5 minutes. We understand that this could be very frustrating as well as the amenity containers being empty. We hope to have the opportunity to make it up to you on a return stay with us.

Overall, very clean and in good repair in common areas as well as rooms. Windows are not at all sound proof which is an issue with the hotel being at a busy road junction. Beds are comfortable. Pool was open and clean but too cold for my tastes. Breakfast was ok, there were hot and cold optiins, zero fresh fruit except for our last of 4 days. Coffee past 9am was nasty. 50/50 on staff, you either got the friendly one or the one that obviously could care less, the latter wearing a mask that is probably riskier than covid it was so nasty appearing (while serving food). There wasnt much enforcement of guests wearing masks, there were a bunch of men (all friendly and polite) who obviously stay regularly and were often walking through the hotel/elevators without masks.
