The property met normal expectations for everything except one item and that ruined our stay there. We booked here as it is noted a "Pet Friendly" hotel. Unfortunately, the charge for including our small 15 lb. dog was $100.00. Basically doubling our cost to stay there. This is excessive and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with a pet.

Our check in process was superb. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly, and extremely professional. The entire process took less than 2 minutes and he devoted most of his time anticipating our questions and addressing them even before we could say anything. He is a great "face" for the hotel. The only negative was the process the cleaning staff uses to indicate they are done with a room. Apparently, every room is checked by a supervisor. The staff indicate that they have finished cleaning the room by opening the dead bolt to prop the door open an inch or two. We returned to our room to find the door open this way and were extremely concerned about it. We were reassured that the supervisor was on the floor at all times; but it still left our belongings at risk. Surely they can find a better system.

The staff was very accommodating. Our reservation, done through Expedia, indicated we would have a King size bed (which we did), but also a sofa bed (which we didn't), for a third adult. The desk person said that because we reserved through Expedia, the hotel is not required to provide the same accommodations, and that Expedia "lies" about the amenities. Well, the hotel did bring in a sofa bed and removed the very small couch, that couldn't have served as a sofa bed. it was very short. So, I rate the staff at the highest for meeting our desires and providing what we thought we were getting.
