For ManU fans this in an ideal place to stay for experience and convenience to the stadium. The staff was very friendly and little details like former players‘ pictures in the wall paper were fun. Great shower, big towels and comfortable bed. Short walk to Media Centre for good food and shopping as well.

Stay for Boxing Day ManU match

My wife and I took our two teenage sons to Manchester over the Christmas Holiday weekend to see the Manchester United Match on Boxing Day. We flew out of Manchester, NH, USA and arrived in Manchester, UK at 8:40 AM on Christmas Eve. Quite a whirlwind tour to say the least. If you are going to Manchester for a Manchester United match this is the hotel for you. Obviously it is about 100' from Old Trafford, but it has much much more. The rooms are very modern with huge tile shower and rainshower head, heated towel rack and modern sink and toilet. The staff is as attentive to your needs and comfort as any I have ever dealt with, and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. The resaurant is spacious, overflowing with comfort foods, and has a great beer and drink selection. Furthermore, the waitstaff is great too. If I am ever lucky enough to return to Manchester I will do all I can to get a room at Hotel Footbal!
