The downtown location was convenient to everything, parking was a reasonable $15 for the on-property lot, and you're only a couple blocks from The Hop, Milwaukee's light rail trolley. It's an old hotel, but very clean. You should know that there are NO ELEVATORS in the 4 floor hotel, but very accommodating. Also, they're renovating room-by room, so when you book, make sure to ask for a newly renovated room. We didn't know to ask, but they thoughtfully put us in a freshly done room on the first floor. It was a kitchenette with new stainless refrigerator, 24" gas range (also stainless), microwave, cooking utensils.... everything you'd expect in a time share, but in a small (very small) kitchenette. And, the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel property is Old School, with a lot of charm! You still get actual room keys and it has a Guilded age feel. Beds were comfy, and the staff was nice.

The Plaza Cafe and Diner was excellent for breakfast! Love the retro feel of the whole hotel! Very nice and safe neighborhood!!

Nice old hotel
Very charming hotel right in downtown Milwaukee. Facilities are old, but we'll maintained. Staff is very friendly and neighborhood knoweldgeable. Made very good restaurant recommendations. Hotel has an excellent breakfast/lunch restaurant right in the lobby. I highly recommend it.
