We had a great time. The house was comfortable and the area is beautiful! The only issues we had were a humming of the fan in the master bedroom upstairs, the door lock didn’t work for us (but the owners helped with this and all was well), and we had a hard time finding where to dump trash. The hot tub was wonderful, the wifi works great (we had one doing online school and one work), and all was just as the listing described. It was a great place to stay for a Liberty University graduation. If we ever need to come back to Virginia we would love to stay here again!

Amazing spring break getaway
We had the most wonderful stay in the mountains. The entire house was very accommodating. My youngest especially loved having his own area in the loft. The hike off the property was great and the kids loved hanging down at the creek. The hot tub was especially nice after all the hiking we did. And the views…drinking coffee on the porch was the best. We will definitely book again in the future.

Comfortable in the forest
Our recent stay at this mountain house was the perfect retreat from the city. The house was ideal for my family of eight. The beds were super comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of hiking. The kitchen is well-equipped, but the highlight was the tap water, which tasted better than fancy bottled water. We recommend visiting the Nature Foundation, which is 3 minutes away by car. There, you can learn more about the special features of that area. The host was responsive, thoughtful and accommodating. Cozy cottage
Had a great time at the house. The kids loved the loft and getting to have bunk beds downstairs. We enjoyed the mountain views each morning for breakfast and loved the short drive to the slopes. It didnt snow this time but having a flat driveway will sure be helpful when it does.
