Unfortunately, there was a lot of renovations being done to the hotel. Once the renovations are complete, the hotel will be nice but I would NOT recommend this hotel until all renovations are completed. There is only one elevator in the hotel and it is SLOW!! Every morning you will have a very hard time getting the elevator because the cleaning staff will be using it. There are only 2 luggage carts which we never got to use when checking in or out. We had to make several trips back and forth to our room move our luggage(on 5th floor) it was VERY frustrating!! There is also nowhere close to park to unload luggage. The main entrance is in the busy one lane alley. When we were trying to load up to come home we had to move our vehicle so that the garbage truck could get down the alley(which also had a food delivery truck in the way at the restaurant next door so we had nowhere to go) The room is small but adequate for the 4 of us that stayed. The stove and refrigerator were nice to have. The shower is TERRIBLE! You will struggle to get your hair clean let alone the lower extremities. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. They asked us if we needed any towels etc every time that we saw them and actually brought the items when we asked for them. Parking was also terrible! Once you have a spot in one of the 3 small lots sporadically placed within 1 block of the hotel you better leave your car there and either take a bus or an UBER because you will lose your spot.

I have booked this property 3 times. I loved my stay the first two times. This most recent time the property is a construction site. There are building materials all laid out on the side of the building. The very limited parking on the side of the building is completely taken up by contractor trucks. The side parking has a bucket lift in it. Leaving very few spots for the guests. The key card entrance on the side of the building is broken. The indoor pool is not heated. The roof top pool is closed for the season. The check in boy didn't know Adam from Eve. I know the check in process I have done it twice in the past. He was very rude told me "Oh no we don't take any one until 4." The past two times I went right up. Due to his ignorance we went outside and started to walk down the board walk. Within minutes I received a phone call stating my room was ready. We go up to the room the linens were dirty and the carpets were not vacuumed. There was a long grey hair on my bed and hair on the pillows on the other. The little shampoos and soaps were missing from the room. The ice bucket and trash can were no where to be found. I go downstairs to tell the front desk (because the phones were removed from the rooms) Todd only says, "I'm sorry" repeatedly. Doesn't try to help at all. This made me more mad than the hair on the pillow. Penny stepped in and the room was cleaned, linens changed, and supplies replenished. Going to bed the music from the store next store kept us up.

There were so many things that went wrong it’s hard to know where to start. Parking is awful. 60 rooms but maybe 30 spots. Only two luggage carts which the staff uses to take out trash. We had to carry a lot in while watching someone take out one bag of trash, even after we asked to use the cart. The elevator is the slowest thing I’ve ever seen. The room itself was ok and the view was amazing. The pool was dirty, you could see sand all in the bottom and towels were few and far between. We were out of our room from 9am- 330pm and the room wasn’t cleaned. I had to call and it still took over 30 minutes, at which point we just wanted clean towels for the night. Our keys stopped working after the first 24hoirs and we were unable to get in the side door so we went to the front desk and told the worker. She informed us the side door doesn’t always work , even though we told her it had worked the last 15 times we used it. I asked if she would re-program and she said she was sure it would work on other doors. So I walked over to the pool and tried my card, which didn’t work. The worker was rude about the entire situation. Typically I don’t complain but this was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced.
