I paid $600 per night and it was disgusting. There were hundreds of ants crawling around the floor, under the bed and couch. There was mold in the bathroom and and kitchen area. The door and walls had thick black scuff marks and dirt. It smelled like urine, smoke and throw up.

Do NOT Stay here! We booked never staying here before. We weren’t looking for anything high end. Just wanted somewhere to lay our heads. Staff was friendly. Upon entering the lobby to use the elevator, we were blasted with fans and signs to excuse the dust. Apparently they are renovating. We arrived to second floor and exited the elevator only to be hit with a horrible smell. Best way to describe is hot wet dog food. All the doors in the hallway were filthy and the locking mechanism was partially removed. Gnats greeted us upon entering our room. Ceiling tiles in the bathroom were dirty and drooping. The flooring tile was dirty and marked with boot prints. All furniture was chipped or needed to be cleaned. There was a sign to not turn the air conditioning below 70 or it would freeze the entire system for 24 hours. We immediately began looking for another place to stay. Spending our first hour and extra 400.00 of our weekend get away looking for another hotel was not how we imagined. We finally found a place and moved our stuff. When we checked out an hour later the employees verified that they knew the place was gross and said the manager was giving deep discounts. I was able to receive two nights back but they would not refund the first night. She stated ‘according to policy’. Policy should be for a hotel to provide a clean room and hotel for your guests! Lesson learned. They need to be shut down. Do NOT waste your money!

Well, there were people smoking pot right next to us, smelled like not only out on the balcony to where I didn’t want to have my children out to watch all the vehicles going by, but also could smell it in the hallway. at 2 in the morning I woke up hearing people hollering and carryon outside on the balcony. Some blaring music. Even though there is supposed to be quiet time after 10pm. Also no smoking on the balcony. Clearly no one cares about respecting others. I would not ever go to this hotel again. Not a place I want to take my little kids. Other then those issues, it wasn’t a terrible place just not for me and my family.

Only one elevator had to wait longer than desired. Public areas were not so clean. General condition was fair, salt water has taken its toll. Room did have view of the ocean. Could not get a drink from grill and take to my room. Good location and easy access to both beach and boardwalk. I would stay again.

it was our first time in OC . The location of the hotel is very good, right on the broadwalk. ocean view. but that's pretty much where it stops for the positive. the staff who did the check in was very rude and unhelpful. there are simply not enough parking spot (understandably so, we arrived on a saturday night) but there's actually an additon parkng lot across the street and he didn't bother to let us know. we found it while tryng to find parking circling the blocks. the room is very run down and old. just didn't feel clean overall. it has a musty moldy smell. the hallway has a strong marijuana odor. there's no phone in the room , and their phone number was out of service. im generrally not picky about hotel, i've stayed in older hotels but they still manage to keep the rooms really clean. that's not the case here. not to mention they don't do cleaning of your room everyday, unless you "request it". no new towels, soap, or anything. again, the location of the hotel made it a good enough experience. but i won't be staying here again next time

First the property accused me of not being paid, paid 3rd party. They would not let me in without my payment. Once I found receipt for payment they reversed charges on my card only to recharge me after I left the property. The card number was manually entered. Now i can get a hold of anyone on-site. VERY ANGRY!!! The TV was broken, shower fixture falling off the wall, and was shocked by the outlet my phone was charging in twice.
