Difficult to access and poor timing

Pros: Could be a nice family environment.
Cons: Management and their decision making.
It would have been nice to know, prior to booking the room, that there was a gay men pool party in the middle of the day, on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. There were a lot of uncomfortable parents with kids in tow, who would have liked to relax around the pool.

No indoor pool

The room was smaller than I expected. And the indoor pool was in a completely different hotel!

A bad experience from start to finish

When I first arrived, they have two hotels in very close proximity of each other. Both owns by the same company. When I went to check it I find out I'm at the wrong hotel. After waiting 20 mins which seemed like 45-60 because they were training a new front desk clerk it seemed. Its 1:30 am people are tired and road fatigued. This should not be the time to train people and leave people standing on their feet. Only later to be informed that I need to go to another hotel that's around the corner (They tell me around the corner like I live in St Louis). I remind the front desk clerk that I am not from around here and I did not see any other hotel when I pulled on this parking lot. Needless to say, I'm sent away in the middle of the night to figure it out myself. She did not offer to call the other hotel to send a shuttle bus or security to escort me to the correct hotel. So I'm left to drive away and figure it out on my own. After spending another 20 mins looking for this place I decide to call. The front desk rep that answers comes off a bit rude and unconcerned at first (This could of just been my frustration level at peak though). She stays on the phone with me and offers to even send security out into the parking lot around the building to locate me. Finally I'm greeted by the security guard and I'm escorted back to the correct hotel. After a short wait to get checked it I'm finally off to my room for some sleep. The very next day I received no house keeping, no towels, etc.

fun pool!

Stayed here for a weekend in July. The pool was nice and it has a bar!

This hotel made me feel horrible

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
The TV volume is so low that you can not hear when the air condition blows the air out. The people next door made so much noise that I can not sleep at night. I called security guard at 12:00 am and 2:00 am twice in order to make next door quiet down.

Nice hotel but tired

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy
This hotel looks like it was once really over the top but now is getting old and tired. It would take millions to revamp it since it is so big. There was some construction type noises going on above and outside of our room that when I called the front desk about it they took no action, nor returned my call. So the hotel was a get what you pay for kind of arrangement, I received a good discount, and was only staying for the one night, so it was a good value for the money; but not a top rate experience.

Great location and very nice room.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Great location and a very nice room for the price. Large flat screen TV and comfortable bed. Within easy walking distance to Westport restaurants shops.

Great service to accomodate needs

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
Upon arrival we were put in a room on the bottom level of the hotel. It had a very musty smell to me and I couldn't stand it after about an hour there. I seriously thought if every room smelled like that we would be switching hotels real quick. We went to the front desk, explained the situation and asked to be moved...they immediately moved us to a room on the top floor. This room had no funky smell at all and we were able to enjoy the rest of our weekend!! We had a wonderful stay! The grounds area is just so beautiful and there is so much to do you almost don't need to leave the grounds the entire weekend. If we didn't have plans I know we wouldn't have left! We will absolutely go back one day!

Horrible

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, dirty
Don't get fooled by the Sheraton name. Apparently they get a lot of conference type business because of the location. The 'non-smoking" room reeked of tobacco smell, bathroom was not to clean, and the staff was minimally courteous. Our room overlooked a huge air-conditioning unit surrounded by garbage.
