We got a great deal on this place through Travelocity and I feel that it was overall a great experience for what we paid. Our room was clean and nice besides a yellow stain on our bedding and broken shelf in the closet which neither were a huge deal to us. Nice pool and beautiful beach. One thing we weren’t aware is when booking is how far away this place is from everything, certainly not walkable to anywhere. A 10 minute drive to any restaurants or groceries and a 20 minute ride to any activity’s. The only areas the hotel really loses points from me is the food and staff. Continental breakfast was carbs only! No fruit no meat just oatmeal, toast, and bagels. There was a brunch menu to purchase a breakfast but it was extremely overpriced. We also eat dinner at the Ya Mas restaurant one night and it was not good for the price. The hotel staff were nice and friendly. It was more so the pool/restaurant staff that were not, for example I was laying out on the beach and wanted some ice for my drink that had gotten warm so I asked a worker for a cup of ice from the bar and she told me no and that I would have to go up to the ice machine on the 4th or 6th floor. Also bring your own drinks unless you want to spend $20 on a margarita.
