The elevator key entry Even though we didn't use the parking attendant, he was very helpful. Clerks at the check-in and out counter were polite. Nice walking distance to the Inner Harbor. You need a handicap bar at the toilet. Room was clean. Very nice. See you again when I baby graduates of Loyola.

No one acknowledges you, valets weren't at their post, have to get their attention to do anything. No where posted about the pool being closed, but it was. Free breakfast wasn't set up at 10, or when we left at 10:30.

The lack of communication was appalling. Nothing about $35 parking fee per night when reserving as well as added taxes. The attitude of the staff was as apathetic as I've ever seen. The pool was so cold you couldn't use it. We never told that was no housekeeping be cause of Covid. The reason is understandable. Not communicating that is not. We didn't know that we had to ask for clean linens and put garbage out side door. My wife bedspread was dirty. The breakfast spread had flys on it and the juice machine was leaking all over the place. The only good thing was the valet parking crew who were responsive and engaging. I've never had a bad experience at a Hampton Inn until now. We will revisit Inner Harbor but will find better accommodations.

The process was pretty simple. I’d just rather them mention the $50 deposit, that I am supposed to be refunded in 3-4 days as long as nothing is damaged.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! However; I would have liked to know ahead of my check-in that the hotel was undergoing renovations. The elevators were covered in duct tape, there was no lobby space upon check in, the hotel smelled of paint/plaster/etc with a large portion of the hotel being tarped off and contstruction beginning noisily before I would have liked have been woken up. The alarm clock that was unplugged starting making a terrible noise at 5am waking my kids and I. So, that's two unwanted wakeups. Breakfast was typical...only feedback would be that the pastries were all old/stale/hard. The staff members I spoke to were all very friendly.
