Well located, very comfortable beds. Two things, though. There were no towel bars...one hook only...in the bathroom, so it was hard to hang towels for reuse. Second, some used room service stuff...plates, napkins, food debris etc.(or maybe it was guest takeout sat on a table near the 8th floor elevator for about 36 hours.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Always asking everyone if they can be helped in any way. before i booked - i wondering if hotel was too far from where we wanted to spend the day, but Uber was the way to go and get everywhere we needed. Parking deck super affordable! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Stayed in a corner room, all the windows and natural lighting was perfect.

Location

Pros: Open atmosphere with convenient food and drink. Clean, non-cumbersome room layout.
Cons: Not having the TV directly over the desk. I work at the desk and my wife watches TV from the bed, so I had to stay out of her line of sight to the TV.
Location: There seems to be a lot to do within walking distance, but my wife and I were there strictly to go to Tio Pepe's restaurant.
My reason for staying at the Indigo was because of the proximity of the hotel to a restaurant my wife and I wanted to go to for her birthday. We now regret not having made provisions for a longer stay, but there's always a next time.

A gem

In this world of cookie cutter hotels, Indigo was distinct. The suite I occupied was spacious and had a sense of privacy uncommon in hotels. The decor was upscale and edgy, but still comfortable. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. A pleasant surprise was the Baltimore r-bikeshare station beside the hotel. If I had known, I could have done without av rental car and the associated parking costs.

Amazing Hotel!

The Indigo Hotel should be listed as a 5 star hotel. It's in a great location, close to many downtown attractions and the wonderful upscale Mt. Vernon neighborhood. The hotel room was modern and comfortable, I traveled alone and even though I am a male I felt very safe. Definitely a great hotel and I am sure to return. The front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Great stay..

No complaints at all really. There was only two things I could say was a little bit unattractive. 1: the view in the room where I stood had a terrible view. I only was able to see the back of another building.. 2: when we were checking out, they had an event right next to the check out station that played music so loud, I wasn't able to talk to the person checking me out without yelling lol. Very unpleasant for those who are checking in and seeing a party playing VERY loud music to the point you can't be in the lobby or have a conversation with anyone. I would highly recommend they not put events in the lobby like that.. Other than that, the stay was awesome.

Great Place to Stay

Pros: Its a lovely place at a reasonable price.Poets bar/restaurant is terrific.
Location: Close to the Walters Museum.
This was our second stay. It was a Wednesday so we had the benefit of Wine Wednesdays in which you can have wine and conversation in the beautiful living room of the hotel. A nice touch in a lovely spot.

Great Place to Stay in Charm City

Pros: The room was really comfortable, the restaurant served yummy food, and the location is great.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: There is a lot to do nearby including the Cathedral, Lexington Market, and the Walters Museum. I am a walker and enjoyed walking down to the Inner Har
What a nice place to stay. The charming old building has been updated in a way that preserves the charm but feels modern. When you enter the hotel, there is a library on the left with a high ceiling and many couches and chairs to sit, read or talk to friends. On the left is a beautiful bar/restaurant.(more about this later) Our spacious room was on the 4th floor and there was enough room to roll out a yoga mat and practice comortably without disturbing my husband. The room had windows on two sides, a desk to work at, and nice modern furnishings. I also really liked the color scheme throughout the building. Another high point was the restaurant. I don't usually like hotel restaurants, but this one is terrific. It has a really eclectic menu with gluten-free and vegan options as well as traditional meal/salad/burger choices. The prices are very reasonable and the drink menu offered a lot of unique options. It was nice to be able to stay in the hotel and eat good food.

Lovely stay for one night - very convenient

Pros: Location, staff, restaurant and lounge, comfortable bed!
Cons: The handheld shower in the bathroom had a mind of its own -- got thoroughly doused with cold water before getting it right - be careful!
Location: Museums, concert venues, great restaurants, educational institutions; not far from Camden Yards and Ravens stadium.
We just spent one night, having chosen Hotel Indigo because of its proximity to our planned activities and the good reviews it had received. I thought that I had reserved a particular type of room, only to find when we got there that I hadn't (just a tip - there are various types, so be sure you choose the description of the one you want!). The adaptive reuse of this old building is quite wonderful, and the location is a very interesting area of the city. We had a quick dinner at the restaurant and the service was excellent and food very good. We attended a play within walking distance, and when we returned stopped into the bar at the hotel. It was such fun to realize shortly afterward, the crowd that also joined us was mostly cast members from the play - obviously , they think it's a great place, too. Our night was quiet and comfortable.
