The lady that tended for breakfast was great! Some didn’t like her strictness for closing the area but rules are rules. Too many people were showing up when breakfast was schedule to end (so just don’t wait until last minute). The Managment need training. I know everyone deserves a break but to leave the resort with no manager for two weeks is unacceptable! We couldn’t even get coins to wash! Had to check neighboring business and were turn down by many! Some of staff did their best but you can tell the ones that were taking the mentality of the Managment. They were inconsiderate to our flight being canceled (due to weather) but wanted us to understand their handicap of lack of management! I’ve been in customer service all my life and know that our situation (which happens a lot) could have been handled better with proper management training in customer service! The hotel is scheduled to undergo renovation in a few months and you can tell that the building/rooms need it. Despite the inconveniences 3 of the staff made it worth it and I would bring my family if 6 back if they are still here!

We would like to clarify that our front office manager was available on property during your entire stay, while upper management was not available. We apologize for any miscommunication and inconvenience that may have resulted due to that.In regards to your reservation, we take weather condition and flight cancelation into consideration. However, we refer back our guest to the third party for any modification to the reservation since you reservation type is a contract between the hotel and the third party. I absolutely loved that it was in a historic part of town. I did not love the fact that there was a black spider in my bed when I pulled the sheets back I also did not love the fact that was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling all over the place. The TV was in analog only and there was only 16 channels I ended up watching Netflix on my tablet instead of being able to watch the hotel TV because there was nothing on that would come in that was decent. The rooms were not sanitary I'm glad that I bring my own cleaning wipes and actually clean the room because the door handles the shower door nothing had been washed there were actual children's fingerprints on the headboard there was a layer of dust all across the top of the lights and the TV and the headboard. Very disappointed for the amount of money that I spent the pool area looked terrible nobody was swimming. Was a very disappointing stay. The coffee pot was a disaster it wasn't even a Keurig. I have had many a Starbucks coffee in my life and supposedly this place served Starbucks. Well if you order decaf Starbucks they make you a instant coffee and charge you $3 and some change for it? I should have just drank the complimentary coffee in the breakfast area that tasted just as bad. I really had higher expectations. And there really wasn't a whole lot to do even though the reviews said there was plenty of shops to go to. Driving was a pain and to navigate the train was terrifying. Don't stay here if you need to the hospital.
