At check in, the hotel hit us with a $100 incidental charge that was not previously disclosed and we DID NOT HAVE IT! They had already charged our room so we couldn't leave and get another room. They reduced the charge, but we had to borrow from family to have gas to get home! This is UNACCEPTABLE! I either won't stay at a HIXpress again or I won't use Travelocity if they can't inform me in advance of charges like these. Also the room door wouldn't open and they had to reassign us the last room. There was no microwave in the room and NO CLOCK! WTH? No clock? Never HIXpress again!

The property was nice except the carpet in our room was very dirty & very limited tv channels. The person who checked us in didn't know what she was doing and I received 2 charges for $100 room deposit, was told they'll come off, still waiting to see if they do.

Firstly, its VERY WARM in the hallways and lobby area. The "free breakfast" was terrible to the point we choice not to eat burnt/dry scrambled eggs and sausage. They gave you 1 VERY SMALL piece of soap and expects it to wash yourself and those with you. Beds were SUPER springy, didnt sleep at all between awful bed and people being so loud in the hallway and slamming doors. I wasn't told anything about a $100 incidental fee until I got there, thankfully I had the $$. They said it is supposed to be refunded within 7-10 business days, we'll see. For granted, it was expensive and it was just my husband and I but we won't be going back to that hotel.
