You can not find any nicer people. The food just excellent, the room, outstanding. This completely changed my opinion on B.& B. I never liked a B & B but this was so nice, believe me we are going back on June 7th & 8th. And after that also. Any time I am in Eau Claire.

This was our second time here but a different room. As always hostess is warm and welcoming. The personally cooked breakfast is an awesome touch. My husband had the benedict breakfast with the salmon and was thrilled at how well it was cooked. This is our new favorite place to stay for special occasions.

Lisa was so nice, we got in really late about 1am and she got up and let us in, still had a smile on her face. From what we can tell she does this all by herself. This place was great! I would definently come back here no questions asked!

Wonderful alternative to corporate chain hotels. I stayed here on business for four days; I'll definitely do it again. In fact, I'm planning a trip back with my wife in the spring, and I suspect this will be an annual 'getaway' place for us. Pulling up to the Inn and walking up the front steps feels like going to a good friend's home. The place 'feels' like a large home, with warm character and the personal touches of the proprietor (i.e. wintery vignettes, Alexa, complimentary bar, and more) abounding. The owner is the most gracious host - her genuine friendliness and the comfort you'll feel from her personal investment in your stay will may you dread the next time you have to stay at a chain. Personal breakfast made to order just for you at your scheduled time. Watching the snow fall in the garden from the warmth of the richly appointed great room while having a cocktail made the stay all the more enchanting …. and the in-room hot tub gave me something extra special to look forward to at the end of the day. You have to experience it for yourself to truly understand; but once you do, you will see exactly I mean. I don't have the words to describe how quaint and refreshing this week of work was because of Otter Creek; as I said, I can't wait to come back to share the experience with my wife for a leisure get away in Spring.
