The Drover is an amazing property. The staff, the ambiance, and the overall experience cannot be replicated by any other property in Fort Worth. It’s an absolute 10 out of 10 and worth every penny!

This property was amazing. Our room was above the valet area so it was a little noisy in the evening. The property was lovely and the staff was excellent. What an amazing property. Would love to stay here again when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the grounds.

We stayed at the Drover for Christmas Eve! It was absolutely perfect! The hotel is decorated to a T for Christmas!! We sat outside by the big Christmas tree and had some drinks! They were perfect! We will definetly be back!

We love this place first of all. It is a stunning property in the heart of the Stockyards. But that location and ambiance comes with a cost. Warning - if coming during the Christmas events for the holidays. It is very nice but they are also so busy that accommodating hotel guest does become a second hand priority over the outside action the area brings. Make sure you book reservations in the restaurant WAY ahead of time cause they will be full and not easily able to again accommodate actual hotel guests easily. No big deal I somewhat get it. It’s more about the ambiance and not the food here personally anyways. Call it the Ft worth place to “be seen”, which I can respect. We have been coming the past few years for a staycation (from Dallas) to enjoy the Christmas events they put on. Unfortunately this time felt like it was just an expensive roof over our head. Room service was very difficult to get ahold of, the restaurant was “fully committed”. Also, we called the restaurant days ahead to not get a call back from the restaurant coordinator about if we could even get a table as a hotel guest. Needless to say we will not continue this holiday tradition for our kids just to be “be seen” in Ft Worth. It’s lost a little of its luster based purely on it’s on success. Outside of the holidays it is one of the best Ft Worth has to offer.

Excellent Hotel but Valet Damaged our Land Rover

Hard to write a review, because the parts of this hotel that are excellent are truly excellent, yet we unfortunately experienced some difficulties that have not been resolved. The glaring problem is our Land Rover was in Valet upon arrival and upon return 2 days later the motorized side mirrors were broken and didn’t work properly. We contacted the hotel immediately on our drive home realizing the damage and they said an outside company does their Valet and passed us to them. This outside company opened a claim with us and “investigated” themselves and sent us a short automated email saying because we didn’t notice the damage until we left the property that they were not liable! How ridiculous. You would think at a luxury Hotel they would take accountability for damage done to a customers vehicle while in their facility. We are so disappointed. No resolution was offered, no responsibility taken by Hotel Drover. It is so difficult to write this review because Rest of the staff is excellent, the restaurant is delicious, managed well and the restaurant staff is attentive and went above and beyond. The front desk staff as well. The Christmas decorations are so festive and the family had blast exploring the beautiful property. Except now back home our Luxury Vehicle has damaged mirrors and the hotel Drover has done nothing to resolve this issue their Valet caused.
