Everything was great! Clean and comfortable! But the website said “complimentary breakfast served fresh everyday” but there was not breakfast at this hotel. Not a big deal, just was upset when I went down for breakfast and there wasn’t even a breakfast room because they don’t serve breakfast.

Served the purpose

Pros: Price
Cons: There was a cheeto on the floor when we walked in and the refrigerator smelled like tuna.
Location: Great location
We were here for an event for my son. We did not stay at the hotel where all the kids were because this hotel was cheaper. Now I wish I would have spent the extra money. Breakfast was not worth anything. Only one elevator in the middle of the hotel made it very inconvenient for us since we were located at the end of a wing. Parking was not the best.

Nicer than I thought it would be....

Pros: Close to airport and room was pretty good.
Cons: Shower
Location: Pretty close to food, etc.
This is only 5 minutes from the airport so that was a big plus. The towels and bedding were good. The room looked renovated and has a kitchenette...stove, frig, microwave, sink and cabinets. We did use the kitchenette but if we stayed longer we might have. The carpet and curtains were all good and the room had 2 leather chairs which were nice.The only thing I would say was not up to par was the shower. It was clean but when you pulled up the knob for the shower half the water came out of the bathtub spout and half out of the shower. Water was hot though so that's a plus. The "breakfast" area was basically a cabinet with coffee on it and packaged muffins underneath.

Nice hotel, Very nice and helpful hotel staff

Pros: close to everything
Cons: slight smell in the room not sure what it was but it seemed to go away after a bit
Location: location in grand rapids close to malls and lots of restaurants easy to get to and easy to find
This hotel was a nice place - newly remodelled - clean rooms and well maintained- the staff was very helpful and pleasant - we will definately stay here again

Not the place if you expect your rm. to be cleaned

Pros: The room was generally comfortable.
Cons: Obviously better management is required.
Location: There is every type of chain restaurant or store that you can imagine within a three mile radius, many within walking dsitance.
I stayed at this hotel for three nights. My room was never cleaned during my stay. I repeatedly told the front desk about this and even spoke to the maid on the floor, but despite assurances, nothing ever happened. I only received some clean towels through the kindness of another maid who allowed me to haul my dirty towels to drop them into her dirty laundry bag and received clean ones in return. I did receive credit for one night's stay after complaining to the manager, but I would have much preferred a clean room. Perhaps this was an aberration, but the management appears to be deficient. I do not plan to stay here in the future, but rather will seek out one of the many similar hotels. This is not baseball; you only get one strike.

Stay was better after we switched rooms...

When we arrived and checked in to the original room we were more that disappointed. It smelled like cigarettes and that part of the hotel was incredibly loud. After mentioning this to the hotel attendant she moved us to a much better room. It was clean and free of the cigarette smell.  Would we stay here again? Probably not unless there really were no better options in the area.

perfect for the price

Pros: Close restaurants
Extended Stay America wasn't mind blowing, but it fulfilled it's duties perfectly for what I was looking for. A convenient and quick place to crash, my extended stay was only one night:-) The room was clean and had a little kitchenette, a nice feature for a longer stay, bed was comfortable, and it was located near lots of shops and restaurants which was convenient. Overall, it was worth the reasonable rate!

Great and not too expensive

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Only issue is that the doors lock at a certain time so you can't check in at 1 a.m. or anything. Check the hours. If you can get there while they are open, this is a nice place to stay.
