With a place as frugal and inexpensive as this location, I don't think people should be asking "what didn't you like...". This is a good, budget hotel. There should be no expectation of a "first class", butler-waits-on-you experience when staying in a great value accommodation like this. Not the Hilton? Well duh, you're paying a fraction of the cost of a stay at the Hilton, and the staff are nicer and harder working here. Overall I think the stay was quite good. Simple true, but it ticks all the boxes for what you need and then some. Someone else commented you likely wouldn't stay here long term, but for a one to two night stay with an early flight to or from Heathrow, it's perfect. I can imagine a much younger me when in university who would simply adore a hotel like this for all my needs, and not just a place to sleep the night before a flight, but regardless I'm glad I picked this hotel.
