The whole second hall smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Was charged additional fees for parking, not mentioned on your site.

Thank you for your input. We are not aware of anything of the sort. Smoking is illegal indoors in the State of Florida and besides the State Fine there is a hotel proscription of smoking indoors. Very slow check-in; one staff person was helping guests to check in, but very slowly, while another staff person didn’t seem to be doing anything productive. He could see multiple parties were waiting in line and apparently could have opened another station, but just stood around.

We do run a full house do to peak demand almost all year. We do ask for your patience as the check in process can sometimes require a small wait. I waited on the shuttle bus at the airport. I called and the desk help had no concern. I had already been there 15 minutes waiting. He said the van would come in 45 minutes. It was a 7 min ride to hotel. I had flown from Argentina and was weary. I had sweated thru my cloths. I will never stay there again!!!!!

Dear Guest, Please note that the Airport Shuttle Pickup has changed at the Miami International Airport. The new protocol is that Hotel Commercial Airport Shuttle pickup is as follows: Upon leaving the airport terminal, exit the arrivals area at any of the following Arrivals Gate Exits:1,2,3,4,7,15,21,22, and 23. Once on the street please use the crosswalk to cross the street and look for the corresponding Hotel Airport Pickup Canopies located across the street. There are benches, snack and soda machines in these covered areas where you can wait for the hotel shuttle to come pick you up after you have called the hotel for the pickup. Please notify us of your Exit Gate so we can look for your corresponding Canopy. Please note that the Arrivals Exit Gates go up to Gate 34 so there is an ambitious walk to the corresponding Exit Gate Canopy corresponding with Exit Gate 23. The hotel shuttle will pick you up there. Please be patient as this new protocol is taxing not only on arriving passengers but also on the diligent van drivers. We apologize for any inconvenience. It was very close to the Airport! Needs some updating, but over all adequate.... Free parking and away from traffic... But very easy to Airport and rental car centers....
