The smell of the dirty carpet and the burnt iron spot on carpet. Very unclean and not a safe area to stay and no wash cloths in room. I request another room but it was smelled so bad it was worse 😫 😩

HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! Very dirty. Loud noises all night. Hole in the wall. Roaches. Room floor sticky. Elevator has gunk in corner. Linen stained. Staff not pleasant. Lousy wifi. Paid for two nights but had to leave after one night because it felt as if I was in a prison block. The staff said they couldn't give me a refund only switch rooms but I was not willing to take a chance on staying there another night.

This is perhaps the worst booking you can find on expedia. I checked in and checked out immediately because I value my family’s health and safety over anything. I should have listened to all the bad reviews so if you’re reading this, every single bad review is true. This place is very misleading showing you nice pictures but the property is far from what they show you. When we drove up to the property there was people out front smoking and drinking and playing loud music. On the parking lot of the property there’s people living in their cars and someone had a saw cutting metal parts from a car, not sure if it was their car. People live in the hotel, it seems like a homeless shelter or halfway house. Very dirty, footprints on the walls of the room, horrible smell, room looked like a crime scene. The girls at front desk didn’t bother to ask if we wanted a different room or apologize for the condition of the room. I asked for a refund because this is unacceptable for any person to live in those conditions but they refused. I feel sorry for the people who live here, as we were leaving a little boy said to us “I don’t blame you for not staying here.” Expedia has done nothing to remedy the situation. I don’t expect them to they have horrible customer service.

It just was awful. Damaged furniture in the room and a bathroom so dirty (mold and tiles falling off the wall) that I did not even use the shower. Keurig coffee maker but no pods, mugs or cups in the entire room. Elevators scary. No restaurant on site or within walking distance. Picture on expedia very misleading.

I wouldn't stay there again.
The grounds are really pretty with the statues out front and the lighting. The bathroom wasn't clean on check-in, but on request they did clean it. I did find bugs in the bathroom on the last day. I didn't complain since we were leaving. It's hard to get towels there. We had to ask in order to get them. It was moderately loud at night. I don't think the walls are very thick as we could hear people running up and down the hallways, loud music, and arguments at night. The carpet in the room is shot and must be replaced. There were no comforters on the bed. Just a fitted and flat sheet. Don't bother with the WiFi at night. We were close to an AP, but we had slow speeds and an unreliable connection. During the day it was fine. Even the network for the TV was sketchy (smart TVs, no cable\satellite). People were having trouble at the front desk with apparently their reservations not being found, but I had no issues at all. So that might not be the hotel's fault. With these in mind, if the price was lower, then I wouldn't be complaining too much, but at ~$100 a night things should be better. I suspect the current owners bought it from someone else and didn't make repairs after purchase, but have no evidence. There are a lot of potential at the property to be a really nice hotel, but the owners need to make investments.
