The grounds are really pretty with the statues out front and the lighting.
The bathroom wasn't clean on check-in, but on request they did clean it.
I did find bugs in the bathroom on the last day. I didn't complain since we were leaving.
It's hard to get towels there. We had to ask in order to get them.
It was moderately loud at night. I don't think the walls are very thick as we could hear people running up and down the hallways, loud music, and arguments at night.
The carpet in the room is shot and must be replaced.
There were no comforters on the bed. Just a fitted and flat sheet.
Don't bother with the WiFi at night. We were close to an AP, but we had slow speeds and an unreliable connection. During the day it was fine. Even the network for the TV was sketchy (smart TVs, no cable\satellite).
People were having trouble at the front desk with apparently their reservations not being found, but I had no issues at all. So that might not be the hotel's fault.
With these in mind, if the price was lower, then I wouldn't be complaining too much, but at ~$100 a night things should be better. I suspect the current owners bought it from someone else and didn't make repairs after purchase, but have no evidence.
There are a lot of potential at the property to be a really nice hotel, but the owners need to make investments.
