This place was filthy, mold and dirt in the bathroom. There was garbage & remains of takeout food in hall & stairwell appeared vagrants eating in shelter of stairs. It appeared that the only other clients were living in 1 of the rooms. We checked in about 5-6pm after 5 hr drive, went to eat & when we got back found all the dirt in the bathroom. I filed complaint with Expedia-booking agent asking for refund. Checked out next a.m. but NO REFUND DUE TO HOTEL POLICY! Desk clerk asked why I didn’t just change rooms. Prepaid for 3nights!! Desk clerk was apologetic, refunded $39 resort fee. Days Inn & Expedia have NOT resolved this, I am out $230.05 & had to sleep in my clothes, wash tub out before showering. Mold in bathroom triggered my asthma. This is part of Wyndham Brand - totally disgusting. I sent photos of property/room but still no help. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS DAYS INN, & I’m staying away from all Wyndham Brand hotel properties. Photos on Expedia do not represent current conditions, description misleading and most services (housekeeping etc) not available. Checked in Dec26, out by 8am Dec27, RECEIVED NO REFUND AT ALL. Resort fee was paid separate-haha NOT A RESORT! Can not post photos here to show black mold, dirt & crumbling structure.

Our reserved ocean view room is under renovation but was listed available in the Expedia app. We decided to cancel when we got to the hotel. The whole hotel looks like it's under construction.

When we arrived there were 4 officers in the parking lot interviewing people due to a disturbance. The elevator is rusted and scary. There were bugs crawling in the floor. The deck door was rusted and warped at the bottom. The shower hadn’t been cleaned because someone had put stickers. They would have washed off if the shower had been wiped.

We got to stay at the Beachcomber instead of the Day Inn. The building was older, but we didnt mind. We were ocean front, which we loved! There was riff raff outside our door at night making noise and leaving lots of trash which did not make us feel safe. The lady at the front desk was so very nice. I would return on my next trip!
