That it was pet friendly. Staff was very nice. Was upset that Travelocity did not specify that I would be bringing my dog. They did let me stay. I was put in a handicapped room and the shower did not drain very well so had to keep putting towels down to keep water from running around the floor.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Sonesta. After reading some negative reviews we were a bit skeptical before our arrival, BUT upon our arrival those reviews proved false. The resort is very nice...great location on the beach...the room was nice (and that part of the trip will improve once daily housekeeping returns), the staff was very nice...it was very mellow and quiet... the food was good,,, so what's not to like! We would recommend the Sonesta Resort to anyone.

The property was dirty. I noticed a fake nail in the hall and it was still there 72 hours later. Our patio was covered in sand and the room had a strange smell. The pool didn’t seem clean and the lagoon had trash in it. For the price, we were very disappointed with the property overall. The beach access was nice, and we enjoyed the bridges and fire pits in the evening.

Great stay! I was a little worried after reading reviews from spring breakers but I’m glad we kept our reservation. The staff was friendly, grounds were beautiful, and you are right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again!!

This is not a 4 star resort. The room was outdated and dirty. The carpets in the room and down the hallways were old and stained. The pool area was small for the size of the resort and only offered towels and an overpriced bar selling cocktails for $14. The beach access was nice but no chairs or umbrellas. I don’t understand now this place can charge a resort fee when they don’t offer anything. The website says pool (all hotels have), beach access (ok), phone calls (who needs with cell phones), fitness center (most hotels have) and a newspaper (who reads these days and I never received one during my stay). Also no room service or housekeeping. I would not return to this resort. The Omni down the road was a much better resort to stay for the price.

This place should definitely not be listed as a four star resort. The room we booked was supposed to have an ocean view. That was definitely not the case. The manager insisted our room was considered an ocean view and would do anything for us. Most of the toiletries were not stocked in the room. The grounds looked neglected cobwebs all over the bridge rails. Most of the amenities were closed due to COVID which is understandable but the staffing level of the resort seemed really low. Most of the time you couldn’t reach the front desk by the phone in the room. Overall would not recommend staying here.

We are sorry to hear things did not go as expected. We have two different types of Ocean view room types and the Ocean Horizon view is a partial ocean view. We are sorry about that miscommunication. We go through our room numbers often and ensure the rooms views are still what we sell them as. Our staff are working extra hard to ensure a perfect stay and there are some amenities that have not reopened due to Covid-19. We hope once this pandemic is over, you will give us another chance.
