Construction over Spa
The hotel is comfortable and clean as usual. However, there is construction going on. I could hear it on occasion in my room. I could hear it while walking on the grounds, but the spa appointment was the worst. It sounded like a jackhammer on my head. Difficult to relax with all of that going on. I’m sure it will be fantastic once it’s completed but maybe consider moving the spa to a different location or to unused suites far away from the construction.

Well there was construction materials all over the place the floors outside the hallway of our room or filthy and full of drywall dust there were work boxes bathtub stacked. My wife fell getting out of the car because of the curb. The water was spitting air and dirt the front desk clerk when we checked in, we asked for a nice place for dinner because it was our wedding. And she seemed to talk down to us and when we asked about one restaurant, she said oh that’s fancy in a sarcastic manner. The one manager offered to change rooms I told him that we were getting married and couldn’t do it call them back after our wedding and the front desk. Clark said he was gone and there were no rooms available overall horrible experience with the hotel. We went to find dinner the night we checked in at the restaurant and basically the Matt tried to point us in the direction of sandwiches felt like he thought we couldn’t afford the fine dining, which wasn’t even that fine. The meal was barely average!

Gorgeous property on the ocean. There are renovations going on most of the property. Constant construction and they use the elevators as well. Would love to stay again when complete and they definitely should offer a discount for a stay during this time or a discount for a future stay. We used the spa while there that is pricey and although the staff is amazing....you can hear construction while getting a "relaxing " massage.
