Delia with the conference staff was courteous and pleasing. She assisted me in meeting my needs very well. The front desk staff was not as helpful. I booked through Travelocity as the prices were cheaper than through the conference I was attending. It would have been nice to have gotten a nicer room. I hate looking at the parking lot. Is there an option on your booking to get a non parking lot view? When inquiring how to get to a nearby church and if the shuttle could assist the staff gave me the wrong number to the local cab and the shuttle does not go there. No offer to call a cab or anything else assistance was very disappointing.

Nice hotel just need later shuttle service. I have no other comments other than it's a great hotel and I love it for the few hours I was there.

Loud doors and UNcomfortable pillows!

Title says it all.... honestly, the worst pillows that my wife and I have had the misery to utilize in a hotel in the last 9+ years of visiting Palm Springs. Furthermore, the room doors are quite loud, regardless of how far down the hallway a guest might be entering or leaving their room. On the flip side,this hotel had the friendliest staff, from the front counter to the cute little restaurant to the cleaning personnel.

Travel Stopover

Pros: Everything. There is no complaints here.
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Short stay but taking advantage of the free shuttle service will give lots of things to do, fine dining, shopping etc.
We were on our way to LA for Christmas with our son and family and decided to make a short stop in Palm Springs for the night. Had we known ahead of time what a fabulous place this was, we would have planned to stay longer. The grounds are just beautiful, the pool area outstanding. There is a free shuttle service to downtown which we did not use as our time was too short. The staff were so accommodating and the room, (we had a suite overlooking the pool with a balcony) was just perfect. You will want to plan an extended stay at this hotel for sure.

Very Nice Resort-Style Hotel in Downtown P.S.

Pros: Pretty much everything
Cons: Prices on pool/bar food & drinks reaching up there a bit, but I guess commensurate with other places
Location: Located a few blocks from center of town near restaurants, bars & shops
First time here back here since conversion from Wyndham to Renaissance (many years). I always thought this hotel was a good $$ value - nice amenities, large rooms, a few blocks off downtown, best pool in downtown area; but, at that time it was getting a little threadbare and worn out looking, and due for an update. Marriott did a nice job in upgrading to Renaissance, and I was pleased to see my old favorite spot looking great. Public areas, halls, rooms & pool area all spiffed out and looking nice. Very nice service and staff. Great upgrade to exercise facility. Prices have increased accordingly, as expected - but at the right price (shop it) it is still a good value compared with other comparable resort hotels in town, and a short walk to restaurants bars and shops at Palm Canyon/Tahquitz, and Regal theaters right across the street. No despicable 'resort fee', but there is fee for parking.
