The hotel staff was great! The cleanliness of the rooms and property was above expectations. However, the noise between rooms was crazy. All day and night we heard slamming doors, children screaming, etc.. there is no sound barrier between rooms it appears. Also, the continental breakfast was very limited; good, but limited. It consisted of a biscuit with gravy, one piece of sausage, yogurt, piece of fruit and coffee and water. It was fine but definitely not what one thinks of in terms of a continental breakfast. The temperature gauge on the hotub was broken the whole time so it was more like bath water. Our ceiling leaked the second day we were there all day....right onto the toilet. Staff tried to fix it but it still leaked.

The people preparing the food where wearing gloves and cross contaminating every person food they prepared. They opened gated that All guest touch and scratched their braids and one lady even wipe her nose on the back of her glove and prepared food without changing. I asked to to change her gloves and I also reported the situation with the manager. The manager talked to them. They did a little better by changing g their gloves, but the next day the never changed gloves again. I order door dash. Made my stay very uncomfortable with the cross contamination going on.

The hotel was great and very clean. Room service was right on time, and no unexpected interruptions . The front desk employees were okay but I had an issue where my card was charged fees that I was not made aware of ( not fees for parking but additional fees) Also when calling the hotel and asking is there any additional fees, I was told no and then was charged for parking each night. No big deal but would have liked to be told up front about the extra fee. The general manager was there and after getting things straight with all the fees being charged to my card. Bumped me up to a top floor room with a beach front view. After seeing how stressed I was with being over chargers for things I shouldn’t have been. She made my vacation 10 times better for that and It was greatly appreciated. And unnecessary fees were dropped.

The only disappointment was have to park my car at the hotel! ....seems unfair....how else to you get to the hotel!
