Property was rundown, Staff was not friendly. Water stains were in the ceiling Landscaping was poor. Never stay there again or use Travelocity

I had to call for maintenance twice within the 1st two hours of my check in. The refrigerator was leaking and the smoke detector had to have the battery replace. Also, its was 90 degrees when I arrived and the AC was off in the room. Lastly, there are only about 10 cars in the lot, but I was given a room closest to the front desk. I heard talking all night! Won't stay here anymore!

Things should of been cleaned properly. Dust on the tv stand mirror bedside table the window ledge had dust and spots of mold on it. The smell in the rooms was that of bug spray. Windows looking have not been since last year. As a result i wont be back! Poor value for my money.

Dump, don't stay here

Pros: The pictures online, which are probably not even of this hotel.
Cons: The only fix for this place is to gut it and start over. Days Inn should removed their name.
I don't have lots of money so I try to not spend too much. That was a mistake with this hotel. It is dirty, smelly, and run down. I paid for the room on booking at Travelocity. Without telling me they charged $100 to my debit card when I checked in. The charge was showing pending, so while not happy about it, I assumed it would not post as I have seen before. Three days after checkout it does post to my account. I call the manager at the hotel and he tells me it was refunded to me when I checked out. Obviously this is not true. He provides no help and is a lying to me. I have never stayed at a hotel that charged a deposit, particularly without telling you. Then to lie about the refund is making me furious. Days Inn says they will look into it, may take a week. Like I said, I don't have a lot of money so $100 is a lot to me. Don't stay here.

Pros: Manager and staff and their concern about our stay
Cons: everything was very satisfactory
Location: we were visiting family and friends
Manager and staff very nice and made sure our stay was comfortable. At least one time each day they asked if we needed anything. With us coming and going they always took time to ask. Very Pleasant Stay. We will stay at Phenix City Inn (formerly Ramada Inn), every time we go to Phenix City, Al.
