We had a wonderful time at the Mayton Inn. Everyone is so friendly, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Great location for exploring the downtown Cary area and convenient to Raleigh and the airport. If you want to have a relaxing Southern hospitality experience, this is your place.

Mayton Inn

Pros: The main floor includes a stunning bar, restaurant and library with fireplace which was a great place to catch up on e-mails.
Location: I enjoyed the the proximity to the Triangle without staying in a typical chain hotel.
Came into Cary for only one night. My intention was to avoid the chain hotels. What I found was a new boutique hotel that was welcoming, clean and sophisticated with great bar and restaurant.

beautiful, boutique hotel

Pros: The bed, sheets, breakfast, staff, coffee, the shower, the towels. There really wasn't anything that I disliked!
I highly recommend staying here. The staff were extremely courteous, helpful and kind and the hotel was so comfortable, clean and upscale. The breakfast and coffee service were amazing as well!

Lovely retreat

I was surprised with my experience at the Mayton. When I entered this boutique hotel I was greeted by the most lovely and genuinely nice team. It never stopped. My room was beautifully appointed, the bed and bedding very comfortable and the bath products refreshing! The restaurant was exceptional especially the crab cakes, fried green tomatoes and lentil soup. I know lentil soup doesn't sound exciting but you would drive there for it once you try it. The hotel has a full bar and my bar tender made a sazarac that rivals those at the Roosevelt in New Orleans. My reservation included breakfast which was generous and delicious! Did I mention they deliver fresh ground coffee to your door in the morning? I wish I could have stayed longer. This is a wonderful find and I can't wait to return.
