I realize the site is under construction but taking the sign made it very difficult to determine if I was at the right location. Probably bad for business as well as someone looking for hotel on the main road won’t know you’re there. Put something up - even if it’s only temporary.

The room was totally average, the breakfast is actually pretty amazing for a free hotel breakfast. However, after I left, they charged my credit card for an extra night WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. I had to notice the charge on my statement and call them on it, and they blamed it on "a computer glitch." The woman on the phone was very unapologetic about trying to steal nearly $100 from me, and did not seem to think it was the hotel's fault. Felt like I was being scammed. I'm hoping I won't have to file a charge-back with my bank. I won't be back.

There was black mold!!!

There was black mold in our first room, we were moved after the first night to a different room. The staff was great! Very kind, polite, easy going and accommodating! The rooms however were a different story! They were extremely dated and falling apart. It was very disappointing for a Hampton! My sister in laws stayed at the Hyatt down the street and got a king suite like ours for $15 cheaper and way nicer!

nice hotel in midlotian virginia

Pros: cleanliness, close to everything, friendly staff
Cons: checking the rooms that put the do not disturb sign on it to makes sure they cleaned the room. and check the refrigerator to make sure its working
It was very comfortable, clean and inviting, the staff was very friendly, and helpful.the only problem I had was the last night,we put the do not disturb on the door the night before, but took it off in the morning. when we got back they never cleaned our room or made the beds they did however apologize for the problem, and gave us extra towels. they should check the rooms when the do not disturb sign is off.

Nice hotel close to the wedding venue.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and felt safe and secure.
Cons: n/a
Location: We were close to Pocohantas State Park which is where the wedding was being held. We really didn't do anything else.
We had to check in quickly to make it to the wedding on time. Our room was all ready. The staff was courteous and friendly. We love Hampton Inns!

Disappointed

Pros: The staff
Cons: pest control and house keeping
Location: Location was great and close to everything
The first room assigned to me was stinky and we had to change rooms. The second room had live and dead roaches in it. I loved the location and the breakfast. The staff was amazing but the pest control needs attention and house keeping needs a little more training.
