nothing good called to check if pet friendly they said yes,upon check in sign in back of desk said no pets.When confronted they said pets ok but charged 10.00 extra I had 2 dogs.Room carpet was dirty had to hold bathtub drain open with plastic knife so it would drain.Exterior entrance doors broken and always open

Please do not stay here, there were dead insects upon entering, toilet was brown, stains on carpets and it smelled so musty, it was just a disgusting 25 mins experience, 25 mins I was there I was on the phone with the Hyatt!! And even if your experience was bad they will NOT return your money. Anybody who slept there is just as nasty as that place, seriously.

Hotel being remodeled

Pros: They are pet friendly and the staff is quite friendly.
Cons: They should not advertise free breakfast and wi-fi if they do not provide it
Location: Chester is a small town centrally located just south of Richmond, with access to parks, historical sites and right off I-95.
The hotel was obviously being remodeled and none to soon. The rooms were in need of repair and were somewhat outdated.I am in this town often and would like to see the job completed since is a convenient location and I have stayed with chain before.

NOT AN EXTENDED STAY MORE LIKE TRANSIENT.

Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: New ownership and management, preferably an owner and his family (extended family) not living there. Complete rehab.
Location: Nearby restaurants were clean and friendly.
Worst hotel ever. Any review over 1 is because the owners/family are LIVING THERE. The lobby was deceiving welcoming and cool on a hot day. Once you enter the actual hotel you are hit with an odor which I believe to be mildew and funk. We're given a room where the odor was worse and hot. Obviously not clean. Bed looked dirty, stove was dirty, and the microwave glass door was broken out with pieces of shard glass still in it. We requested another room and was greeted by another resident, joking about the uncleanliness of another room. We get another room it smells better but still stinks looks better. Getting ready for bed we discover sheets are dirty, we request clean linen. The staff goes get sheets and attempts to hand them to me, they want me to change the bed and was mad that I demanded they do it. They wanted me to use the same pillow cases that they put on the dirty floor. When they brought new pillows the were dirty with mucus which obviously came from someone else nose. They also have roaches. Any review after this would be a blatant lie unless they completely gutted the dirty hotel and started over. If the pool is anything like the rooms you are probably swimming in a toilet. Obviously this transient hotel doesn't get inspected by any authority. I would suggest any hotel finding service remove it from their site because it's far from being advertised. I would've change hotels but was exhausted from travel and having a 12 hour ride ahead.

Ok hotel

Staff was nice. Beds were really really hard. Ac made the room ice cold at the beginning and then by the middle of the night it was burning hot in the room.
