I didn’t like that I have to wait until 3 pm to check in, and the total hotel fee was confusing

There was someone else's hair in my bed, with eye makeup on the pillow. There was also a pair of socks left there as well just sitting on top of a chair. Definitely could've been cleaner.

Our room was absolutely filthy. Hair in the sheets, all over the floor, in the “clean” towels. There was no toilet paper or hand soap in the room. When the curtains were pulled back there was mud smeared all over the window. After complaining to the man at the front desk, he did not seem to care at all. Simply said “I’m sorry” and explained there was nothing he could do because we had paid through Travelocity. Would NOT recommend anyone stay here.

Had to change rooms - three times - two rooms smelled of piss. Carpets are grungy. Bathroom floor definitely did not get a good cleaning after every guest. No hairdryer. No iron. Rooms DO NOT look like the ‘purple boutique hotel’ photos on line.

For the price and location we might recommend this motel. The room was clean. The carpet is badly stained. There is no bathroom exhaust fan. There should be another light in the bathroom and in the closet area. This is a no smoking room, yet people were smoking outside on balcony and parking area.

Bad experience!

Pros: Proximity to Mission Valley events.
Cons: Everything. It was a horrible stay!
Location: Great location in Mission Valley. So much to do nearby.
This hotel was probably the worst I have stayed in. We came to the hotel after a long, hot day in San Diego, and just wanted to relax in comfort. Instead, we immediately had to change rooms bc the air conditioning didn't work in our first room (it was about a 95 degree day in SD). The hotel staff promptly moved us to another room, but we had to load up our bags and move our car. Not relaxing to say the least. Then, upon arrival to the 2nd room, we immediately noticed a mildew smell. My husband stepped on the carpet when he went to shower and it was damp. The furniture was beat up, the bed linens looked wrinkled and gross, and the quality of the room was poor overall. I was disgusted, but it was late and almost every hotel was sold out due to Labor Day weekend. When my husband went to get into the bed, there was a curly black hair on the sheet (looked like a pubic hair). I felt so disgusting and had a hard time sleeping! Also, the microwave in the room was dirty and scratched. The fan in the bathroom was full of dust and dirt, the corners in the bathroom were very dirty and looked black. I have never stayed in a dirtier place. I was very disappointed with this room and the quality of my stay. We informed the front desk staff upon checkout and they were apologetic and kind. I will never stay at or recommend this hotel unfortunately.

Lovely Stay

I really loved everything about my stay, room super clean and the bed was so comfortable. Only down thing is that they don't provide with complementary breakfast. Other than that... lovely stay! :)

Do not stay here

Staff is rude, slow and demeans guests. Charges for every stain on towels .. and makes you stand there as they count your mental stained lines publicly, and slowly in front of court of other guests and gallow of staff. Shameful.

We do state that we charges for ANY damages, including linens, in the registration card that is presented at check in. It is the guest's responsibility to read all parts of their registration card and also to not damage the items that we graciously provide in the rooms. At check out, it is our responsibility to notify the guest if any damages were made in the room and we happily will explain them. If for some reason the guest disagrees with the charges, we will happily show the guest their damages, either in the room or at the desk. Unfortunately, we cannot tolerate guests that do not treat our rooms in a respectful manor. We were not trying to shame you but we do expect you to be responsible in your room and not damage any items. Please contact the front desk directly if you have any further questions or concerns.
