Pool looked dirty, no real breakfast except for a bag breakfast which was due to covid. Soda machine out of soda and does not take credit cards only cash. Limited toiletries for 4 adults is the same as if it was one person. However beds were comfortable.

I booked this hotel even though I had read several reviews which reported some of the staff were less than professional. Our interactions with the staff were pleasant but interesting. I hope customers realize these people don't get paid a lot of money. We want cheap rooms so this is what we get. I also hope owners of these businesses realize their staff is the face if their business. The bigger the difference between what customers need when they walk through the door and what staff delivers, the greater chance there will be issues. Finally, while eating breakfast, a customer asked the staff to turn off the TV which was tuned in to a political news station in the breakfast area and the staff did so. Thanks to the staff as even I enjoyed the quiet. If you're going to have it on, why not just tune in to the weather?

I like the location of the hotel. Restaurants are close, and it's not far from I-25. So makes for a good quick stop while driving on road trip.
