Property did not reveal that the pool was closed.we have stayed there several times. This time the front desk person was rude. The hotel was dirty. There were no amenities available. They put us in a ground floor room. We left and stayed somewhere else. Expecting full refund from Travelocity.

Dear Mary, All pools are closed in New Mexico per the Gov. Ground floor can be resolved by just asking for a room on a higher floor.

The first floor layout was confusing. The room was spacious, there were bath homes, bed was very comfortable.

Great location

Pros: The décor and location.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: This hotel is located within a stone's throw of Santa Fe Plaza and many restaurants, galleries.
This hotel location is just a short walk from the Santa Fe plaza. We found the staff knowledgeable and very willing to help with anything we needed or questions we had about "what was happening in Santa Fe". Our combined business and pleasure weekend was a great success.

Confirmed King room not available on arrival

Apparently, 3 months advance reservation through Travelocity -- confirmed, no less -- isn't enough to guarantee you'll get the room type you want. Our confirmed reservation was for "Deluxe One King Bed". We arrived before the hotel's check-in time, but were told that there were no Kings available. Our room had two full-sized (not queen) beds. The hotel, we were told, doesn't offer any other bed types. Our first breakfast at Ortiz's (the hotel's restaurant) brought a surprise -- we were given two cloth napkin-wrapped place settings, but with one of them the spoon actually stuck to the napkin.

Hilton

Pros: Location and parking were very good. Walking distance to plaza.
Cons: There was no prior notification that the restaurant was being renovated and was closed.
Location: Plaza is only a few blocks away with many restaurants and shops nearby.
Hotel was very nicely styled. Rooms were nicely decorated with very nice bathrooms.
