The room was adorable as was the property. Loved the uniqueness and that it encapsulated the Santa Fe vibe. If the bar had a few appetizers, this place would be sheer perfection!

This hotel has so much character! I loved the decor, the bed was very comfortable and the little cantina was awesome!

It was advertised to have a fridge and coffee pot, but had neither. The on-site bar was marginal. The exterior spaces were filthy and looked as if the gardens and lawn had not been touched since last year. I’ll never stay there again.

The Electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work. Old orange shag carpeting in the bedroom that was heavily stained with paint and grease. Wall furnace for the room which was impossible to control the temp had a thermostat next to the furnace.

Old-style motel. Low-slung buildings, almost all one story, arranged around parking, pool at the back. Room very clean. Furniture deliberately old-fashioned, 1950s-1960s, for atmosphere. Outside highway noisy during the day. Room #21, where I stayed, deserves mention as the layout is unusual but might be just what someone needs. It is a "shotgun" suite: from the outside you enter into a full kitchen with a large dining area, going through that you enter a sitting area with chairs, sofa, and TV; going through that you enter the bedroom, with King size bed; finally through that is the bathroom, with a closet area. All the rooms are reasonably spacious; it might work very well for a couple who had friends staying at the motel or nearby and wanted to have dinner or drinks in the room, without needing to share their bedroom. The room was very clean and neat. My only complaint is that the lighting in the sitting area could have been better. My brother and his family spoke well of the pool; I didn't use it myself.

Beautiful quaint hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the Plaza. Although the hotel is right on Cerrillos Rd, once you get into the property it is like walking into a little oasis. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was beautiful, and unbelievably quiet. The staff was very friendly and polite. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so no comments there. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it.
