This was a great location, so close to the plaza in downtown Santa Fe. The buildings were lovely adobes and the breakfast was great!

The welcome was warm and informative. Lots of information about where to go and what to do. The list of restaurants steered us to The Shed where we enjoyed a terrific dinner with New Mexican red chile and great service. It was worth the 2 1/2 hour wait! (And I hate waits.) Location is convenient to the Plaza, many restaurants and too much shopping! Great weather. After we parked our car we never had to move it. It was just a short walk to the pretty little plaza where street musicians provided continuous entertainment. Our hotel has a long history which was shared with and made our stay even better. Wonderfully maintained even though it is over 100 years old. Pueblo Bonito Inn is aptly named.

Thank you Bedford. We appreciate your appreciation of our 400 yr historic city (Santa Fe) as well as our property (built in 1860) and our services. We're glad you found our adobe pueblo b&b in a great location to tour, walk, explore and just have a great time! We invite you to return on future visits to Santa Fe.... after all, this our 36th consecutive year running our inn and we have SO much to share, so we look forward to it!

Thank you! We're grateful for your willingness to share your recent experience with us and let us know what made your time with us 5 out of 5! Though all b&b's are different (policies, services, size, etc) we're glad you found your room to be quite large and approved of the decor and ambiance. We're also glad you took advantage of our outdoor seating/grounds - they are peacefulness and inviting! We hope your time with us might bring you many years of fond memories and invite you back anytime! Until then, our best-

Wonderful. We loved the fireplace in our room. The breakfast was delicious and also elegantly served on china not paper plates in our room.

Thank you Anonymous! We're glad to know you had a "wonderful" experience. Our goal (over the last 35 years of operating our inn) has been to present to our new and return Santa Fe visitors the most "authentic" preservation of Old adobe Santa Fe pueblo history to experience and apprecaite. There aren't any other properties still in existance in downtown Santa Fe which have preserved the original elements of property as we have. This makes a true historic experience- rather than a facade on the outside with brand new on the inside! We're so glad you enjoyed our accommodations, our Covid safe breakfast service (in-room) and our real wood burning kiva fireplace option! We hope you'll consider returning to Santa Fe in the future and allowing us the privilege to once again host you! Until then, stay safe.

We were shocked this place had so many favorable reviews after staying here. They charged a extra $7.00 for an additional night on top of the already overpriced first night because "demand" for the 2nd night went up? The place was nearly empty and as we checked much nicer properties in Santa Fe, we could've stayed at a 4 star place for considerably less. The breakfast is not made to order eggs or waffles. Its microwavable food sitting in your mini-fridge. Not to mention a 15.00 charge for 3 little logs in a fireplace that should be complimentary as to make up for the loud location. The managers didn't seem to care when lack of sleep was mentioned. Would never stay there again when there's much nicer properties that are a better bang for the buck. By far.

We are certain saddened to hear of your disappointment, as after 36 years of consistent service my husband (owners) have walked this property, serviced our guests and attempted to present the most authentic historic Old Santa Fe adobe accommodation experience for our thousands of Santa Fe visitors. We know we're not for everyone and we will be a "disappointment to some"... however this doesn't stop us from striving to put our best foot forward. So thank you for trying us out. Regarding the $7.00- to clarify- you made two separate reservations and each had a different room rate. Rates to fluctuate based upon the travel date, travel day and demand. This may not have settled well with you, but the truth just that, so we're sorry you didn't appreciate our answers. Regarding breakfast, you're absolutely right... guests will never find scrambled eggs and waffles here! Always and as you received- red chile pork tamales for breakfast top our menu! Sorry this didn't meet with your approval, but we boast about these babies (never would be ashamed our breakfast offerings as our guests have voted our tamales as THE BEST of NM!). The kiva fireplaces are in all rooms- each burn real wood. For safety purposes we make certain all guests only burn what we offer to put in them so all guests are safe and assured of a 2.5- 3 hour burn. The very dry pinon and cedar wood (cut to specific size specifications) as well as a duraflame log (hidden in the back to assure a clean burning, easy to light fire) are provided for our guests pleasure. They are an additional amenity, one that will be an extra charge as clearly stated in all communications. We hope you'll consider staying again in the future in Santa Fe as you well stated- there's plenty of options for everyone's preference. Again, we appreciate the trial and wish you the best!

Thank you Karen. We appreciate that you enjoyed our 160+ yr old historic adobe pueblo accomodations. Originally built as a private estate in 1860, our property has been blessed with only 3 different owners allowing us to retain it's original build integrity and share with our guests a true slice of adobe Santa history. So glad you enjoyed it all! Hope to see you again in the future as we have so much to share with you- our native culture, customs and flavors are rich and plentiful! So come back again and we hope it will be soon!

Thank you Anonymous. We're grateful you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our intentional preservation efforts of this 158 yr old adobe pueblo estate! Hope you took full advantage of our great, convenient downtown location and walked to all nearby historic sites (San Miguel Mission, Loretto Chapel, Oldest house, plaza, canyon rd, rail yard, etc) as well as restaurants, shops, galleries, museums and more! So glad you appreciated our friendly, professional staff and our distinctively New Mexico breakfast fare (red chile pork tamales and green chile chicken stew). We invite you to return for a future visit- we'd love to share more of our history, culture and heritage!

The B & B had the character of Santa Fe throughout the room. Lots of nice little details throughout. The Inn was close to Old Town Santa Fe and we walked there both in the evening and the next morning. The Breakfast was hot and unique to Santa Fe in regards to Tamales and Green Chile Chicken stew as well as more standard fare.

Thank you Anonymous- we appreciate your recommendation of our 158 yr old, accurately preserved, adobe, pueblo, downtown Santa Fe bed and breakfast! We have one of THE best locations in downtown as you've testified to! Our south of the plaza, downtown location avails easy walking to the center of downtown (plaza)- to the east side (Canyon Rd), west side (Railyard) and of course the most historic route is Old Santa Fe trail (steps from our doorstep!). Add free onsite parking, our guests find it easy to appreciate the hassle free and convenience of our location when exploring historic Santa Fe, New Mexico. Come back anytime, we'd love to have you.

Very good place to stay. Bathroom is very small and the bed was not very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Thank you Anonymous. We're glad to know you enjoyed your stay and felt our offerings to be "very good". Yes, it's true our bathrooms are small as our property is an original adobe pueblo compound built in 1860 for a personal residence (complete with horno- Native American bread oven; horse stables and servant quarters). It was never intended to be used as we are using today, but as you found the layout of rooms (all have private baths- small but complete with shower/tub, toilet, sink, etc) are very condusive to travelers wanting to experience an authentic slice of history! As we say... "Your not buying the place, rather you've chosen Pueblo Bonito b&b as it's an original adobe pueblo-style experience in a prime downtown Santa Fe location". Hope you enjoyed the experience! Thank you again, and we hope to see you on a return visit to Santa Fe!
