"The manager went above and beyond to help me on our last day in Panama City. I have stage 4 cancer and I was very sick and could barely get out of bed and when I asked the front desk if I could have a late check out she couldn’t allow it because it was an extremely busy time for the music festival but she went above and beyond and spoke to the manager and he made an exception for me and allowed me a late check out of 1pm! It really helped me bc I was up all night with every symptom you could imagine. When I checked out he made a point to come meet me and ask if I was ok. It really touched me to know that there are still people in this world that care about total strangers. The next day I flew home and went straight to my cancer hospital for another cycle of chemotherapy. The room was amazing! It had 2 rooms with doors that led out to a huge balcony and a view of the gulf! One room was a living room/kitchen with a full size fridge and stove. Beautiful property, they even popped popcorn during the day and put out fresh fruit in the lobby. Even the small workout room had a view of the gulf. There is a pool and a hot tub and an area with games for kids. The staff was super friendly and they even called me to let me know my room was ready earlier then expected! If I can afford it I will definitely stay here next year!"
