Staff was exceptionally friendly

Pros: Location on Lake Union, architectural design, friendliness of staff.
Location: Located on water with restaurants nearby. Transportation to shopping in front of hotel.
Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. They followed up on all requests; taxis, birthday cake for husband, wine, extra service to room. Selections for breakfast were numerous and good. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. I was once a Regional Director of Training/Guest Services for Marriott on the West Coast and I was proud of the staff.

Seattle Memorial Day Weekend 2015

Pros: Indoor pool was nice but very loud
Cons: Pool volume level and echo
Location: Dukes was near by as well as Space Needle
We arrived to the hotel on time and were greeted very nicely by Adam at the front desk. He was very helpful and very knowledgable. Anytime we dealt with Adam things went very well. The our room was missed several times in our 5 day stay and we had to call down each time to get them to come by the room. On our last day on or way out to the car we had a flat tire on the rental car. Unfortunately, Adam was not on and we received very little assistance from the staff. They did not even know who to call for assistance and when we got out to the car there were signs in the garage to call a tow company. Had to call AAA after all to get some help. Breakfast was ok. Decent variety it was a cross between a buffet and continental breakfast. Almost really good but sausage hash was scary and just sausage would have been better. Nit picky I am sure but you asked my opinion. Others will certainly have no issue with some of this food.

Family Friendly Hotel

Pros: Cleanliness, amenities, location.
Location: Perfect location if you're going to the boat show!
We were in town for the boat show, which happened to be right across the street. We reserved a suite so Grandma could stay with us and help with our two year old. This hotel is clean and attractive. The suite had two very private rooms plus a living room and small kitchen. Downstairs they serve coffee and tea all day long, which is a great thing for a caffeine addict like me. They have a pool plus a fun play room with toys for kids of all ages. Breakfast was also great. They had a wide variety of options each morning. This was our second stay here, so I definitely recommend this place!

Great 4 kids/families

Our third stay at this hotel was in August '09. We plan to return in June '10. Our family consists of dad, mom, 14 y/o boy, 11 y/o girl and we all love this hotel. The breakfast includes a waffle station, a hot breakfast station, a table with bagels, pastries, donuts, cereals and bread with a toaster oven. There's milk, juice, coffee, teas, hot cocoa, and fruit. I usually use the laundry room (washers and dryers) once per trip and the kids like to hop in the pool at the end of the day. We have walked to the downtown area and the wharf from this location. It's a long walk but scenic. The business center has 2 computers and one printer. Once, when the printer went out, the front desk was willing to print at their computer. Friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, couldn't ask for more.

Great remodel

We stayed here is January 2009. The remodeled rooms are nice, clean, great hotel! The bed was comfortable, the couch and kitchen were clean. The only problem we had was parking. There was limited parking and it was full both Friday and Saturday nights. The spots are very narrow and most people took 2 spots to park their cars. One night I absolutely couldn't find any place to park so the front desk told me to park in the loading dock. The parking is an addiitonal $19 per night, so be forewarned. The front desk was very helpful and the breakfest is great.

First Class!

We just returned from spending 3 nights at the Residence Inn Seattle. The location, service and hotel amenities were all excellent. The hotel is located very close to all downtown attractions. The suite we stayed in was very roomy with separate kitchen, living room and bedroom with a small balcony off the livingroom. There were 2 large flat screen TV's, 3 phones and a work desk with internet hookup. Our Black Lab loved this place and settled right in, the staff treated her like one of the guests. The morning hot breakfast was incredible with lots of selection and was complimentary. There is a good gym at the hotel with adjacent pool, juccuzi and sauna. Our suite overlooked Lake Union which was nice and there were several marinas across the street as well as a couple of good seafood resterants. Parking is a bit pricy but I hear that is the norm for downtown Seattle but it is secure and indoors. I really can't say enough about this hotel, we really enjoyed our stay, felt right at home and can't wait to go back!

Excellent value

Stayed here as part of a flight+hotel deal, and value is excellent. Super clean, complimentary breakfast, quiet and - best of all - nonsmoking!\n\nOnly things I'd nit-pick about are: bed was too soft (but this is coming from someone who normally sleeps on a mattress pad on the floor); bedroom windows didn't open so it got a bit stuffy on the unusually warm weekend we were there; the closet door is of such a design (on a track, opens into an out-facing "V" shape) that half of the closet opening is always blocked.\n\nI'd definitely stay here again.

perfect stay for family with pet

We stayed in a suite with our dog and just loved it. The staff was super friendly to both us and the dog. It's very clean and you get a huge room for not a lot of money. The bed is a little soft but that is the only complaint I have. Breakfast was incl. in our room price and it was great. I would for sure stay there at my next visit to Seattle.
